Our history, our work
The company was founded in 1950 as a small artisan company producing samples for the energy sector in Baranzate.In 1974, thanks to the courage, will and determination of Mr. Chiovenda Bartolomeo, his wife Adriana and his children, Officine Elettromeccaniche Chiovenda was established, expanding the areas of collaboration and mass production of products.
Since 2015, following Mr. Bartolomeo’s passing, his children have continued to build on his legacy.In 2017, we opened a new headquarters in Lainate, where we have systematically transformed into a 4.0 company, equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and expanded our assembly department.We specialise in precision machining of small, medium and large components, crafted from cast or solid materials.
Our turning department is capable of machining parts up to a diameter of 1000 mm, while our milling department, equipped with an NHP8000 multipallet, can handle cylinders up to 1400 x h1600 mm.
In 2023, we expanded our machine park with the addition of an SMX3100S multitasking turning centre, enabling us to machine components up to a diameter of 600 mm with a double spindle. This investment enhances operational efficiency, streamlines work processes, and ensures the health and safety of our team members.Drawing upon our extensive experience, we specialise in the assembly of mechanical, electromechanical, and automatic machine parts, including the implementation of wiring according to customer specifications.
We are certified with Bureau Veritas, ensuring a material quality control system for the entire production process through our quality department with a DEA three-dimensional inspection machine.Our measuring instrumentation is subject to calibration checks and traceable to the S.I.T. metrology chain, and we are registered in the EcoVadis portal for environmental sustainability.We make deliveries with our own vehicles up to a maximum of 26 quintals or 12 euro pallets.
